Engage Works
Emily produced the 2022 Engage Works which was held at The National Centre for Writing. Engage Works is an event by the LCEP that aims to gather young people and organisational representatives for a day of workshops, talks and resources discussing and exploring Young people, creative careers and activism. The programme featured an 80% female line-up and Emily worked in particular to make connections with local organisation New Routes who attended and led a workshop about the exclusions refugees face form the education system in the U.K.

Postcard Poems
Postcard Poems was the first large scale project Emily produced as coordinator of the LCEP. Over 15 local schools were invited to write bite sized poems about the things they wanted to celebrate about Norwich. These poems were then displayed across Norwich in windows as part of the Young Norfolk Arts Festival 2022. Emily also oversaw and coordinated a pop up exhibition ‘Pathways’ featuring artwork from a workshop with New Routes.
