The Nest was a 9 day residency taking place in Great Yarmouth with Magic Acorns. 12 Artists across disciplines were chosen to take part in research, development and performance making for children and babies aged 0-6 years old. Throughout this residency the group worked to create 3 performances spread across an indoor sensory space and beach locations which families were then invited to attend over 4 days at the end of the residency. Whilst on this residency I focussed on my movement practice and how this can be used to actively encourage engagement with early years and how it can be used as an extension of playful objects and invite families to join in with the play aswell.
